My annual subscription service is designed to provide consistent, year-round protection against common household pests through scheduled quarterly visits that keep pressure on insect activity before it becomes a problem. Each visit includes inspection and targeted treatment of key interior and exterior areas to maintain a protective barrier around the home and address seasonal pest trends as they arise. In addition to routine service, subscription members receive cost-free additional visits for urgent or emergency insect concerns, ensuring fast response when unexpected issues like sudden wasp activity, ant invasions, or other pest problems occur between scheduled treatments.
My Subscription Plan Service is limited to the Portland area and some suburbs south of the city, including Lake Oswego, West Linn, Milwaukie, Oregon City, Tualatin, Tigard and other nearby areas.

My approach includes a combination of interior and exterior treatments designed to reduce active infestations and create a protective barrier around the home. For ants, baiting is often used to attract workers back to the colony, allowing for more effective elimination at the source, while non-repellent sprays may be applied in key areas to help control activity indoors and along entry points. Spider treatments focus on reducing both spiders and the insects they feed on, with exterior applications around foundations, eaves, windows, and other harborage areas to limit their entry into the home. In addition to treatment, basic preventative measures such as sealing cracks and gaps, reducing moisture around the foundation, keeping vegetation trimmed back from the structure, and minimizing food and clutter sources indoors all help significantly reduce future activity and support long-term control.

In addition to scheduled quarterly treatments for ants, spiders, and other seasonal pests, the plan includes professional bee and wasp services whenever unexpected stinging insect activity occurs. Whether you're dealing with yellowjackets, paper wasps, bald-faced hornets, honey bee swarms, carpenter bees, or other common bee and wasp concerns, you'll receive prompt service at no additional cost during your active membership. Unlike most pest control companies, which treat bee and wasp removal as a separate premium service, Sam's Complete Insect Protection Plan includes these services as part of your membership. Every visit begins with proper species identification and the most appropriate treatment or relocation method, with honey bee preservation prioritized whenever practical. About Sam the Bee Man
I developed an interest in bees and wasps while working alongside a local beekeeper and wasp removal specialist in Seattle, and over the years I’ve gained hands-on experience with honeybees, bumblebees, yellowjackets, hornets, paper wasps, and other stinging insects. I have a deep respect for pollinators and a particular fascination with the incredible diversity of wasp species native to our region. While I value the important ecological role these insects play, I also understand that bees and wasps do not always coexist safely with people, and that responsible removal is sometimes necessary when conflicts arise around homes, businesses, and public spaces.
